Need a website?

It's not always as complicated as you might think to have a good website. There are literally thousands of options out there these days, from uber custom web developers to a simple template. So how do you know what's right for you? I always say start small, particularly if you are new to the world wide web. But is a $200 template enough? Well if it is the only way to get you started, then yes. But I promise, you will find that you want something a little more custom, that you want to just tweak that one thing more than you are able. As with everything in life, if you go somewhere in the middle you will probably end up where you want to be.

So what does that mean exactly? I recently completed a project where all I was required to do was set up the basics, the general design and navigation and customize an existing WordPress theme. This really is a blogging site, set up as a business tool with an online catalog and all. Since WordPress is pretty simple to use, the owner was able to have his staff fill in the blanks and voila, they have a great site, easy to use and easy to update. www.statusceramics.com
